I’ve been a nature lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the Midwest countryside, surrounded by forests and farmland, I spent much of my time outdoors — sketchbook in hand, observing the quiet details of the natural world. It’s where I first learned to slow down, notice layers of texture and light, and it remains the place where I feel most at home. I started sketching as a child and never stopped.

That lifelong connection to nature continues to guide my work. I’m drawn to the way the natural world reveals itself in layers — shifting with light, depth, and perspective. My paintings often explore this sense of dimension, reaching beyond their borders to invite the viewer closer and create a feeling of movement and immersion.

I work primarily in watercolor and ink, mediums that allow for a delicate balance between control and flow — a process that mirrors nature itself. At the same time, curiosity continually pushes me to explore new materials and techniques, allowing my work to grow and evolve alongside the inspiration that surrounds me.
